Ron has played a key role in of some of the most audacious explorations of our planet, from a world record dive exploration under Australia’s vast Nullarbor Plain, through to explorations of the submerged cave systems of Mexico, Florida, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the ice caves of Alaska. More recently he co-designed and built Deepsea Challenger, which James Cameron piloted to the bottom of the Marianas Trench in 2012. He continues to explore and to design and build deepsea vehicles.
